ThreeDaves_450x679Book Description:

Jennifer Whitney was the last American virgin. At least that’s what she felt like in 1986 as she began her sophomore year at Central Illinois University. She was proud of her decision to wait for the right guy, and yet she was getting restless. It seemed like everyone around her was doing it... and having fun doing it, too. She didn’t want to become the campus slut or anything, but surely there was a difference between a trashy skank and a nice girl with a little experience. Perhaps it was time to stop relying on fate to guide her and instead take matters into her own hands. And with that realization, Jen decided to find “the one” and lose her virginity, although not necessarily in that order...

Excerpt Three Daves

Big D

D’s tongue wound its way around the pencil, and Jen decided it was time to take control of the situation. She got up from her chair and gimped over, inserting herself between him and his book.

“What’s up?” he asked.

“D, I’m jealous of your pencil.”

D looked confused and held his pencil out to her. “You want to borrow it?”

“No.” She took the pencil and laid it on the table. “I want to borrow you.” She held both sides of his face in her hands and planted what she hoped was a seductive kiss on his mouth. He returned her kiss, but started pulling back after the usual couple of minutes. Jen had moved her hands through his gelled hair to the back of his head and held him firm. He wasn’t getting away from her this time.

The kiss suddenly became more urgent as D seemed to realize that they were taking things to a new level. His mouth left Jen’s to travel down her jaw and neck and slide to the small V of skin that was exposed by her button-down top. Jen released her fingers from his now-mussed hair and frantically worked to unbutton her blouse. D followed the wide trail of flesh that Jen made for him. He made it down to her naval and then straightened up, locking his smoldering, steel eyes with Jen’s. He had clearly been waiting for her to make the first move, and she was oh-so-glad she had.

Without breaking their gaze, D slowly ran his hands over Jen’s shoulders and slid her shirt down over her arms to her wrists. Then he gripped her naked waist with his strong hands and lifted her to sit on the table. He looked her up and down and murmured, “You’re so beautiful, Jenny.”

In her excitement, Jen thought she could actually feel corpuscles exploding throughout her body. She beamed a smile on D as he reached a hand behind her head to pull her into another steamy kiss. Jen wanted to wrap her arms around him and maybe find a way to expose more of his skin, but she discovered that her wrists wouldn’t budge from the table. When D had set her down, she must have sat on her shirt, and now the cuffs of her blouse held her trapped.

D noticed her predicament as she struggled, and he leaned back with a lecherous smirk. He slid his firm lips over her collar bone and moved down. As he peppered her cleavage with baby kisses, Jen whispered, “It’s a front clasp,” and congratulated herself on her fortuitous choice in undergarments that morning.

He fumbled around with the clasp and finally snapped her bra open and slid his big hands over her breasts. He leaned forward and softly kissed one of them and then the other. Then he began to feast. His thick tongue moved hot and fast, and its force took Jen by surprise. She moved to clutch her fingers into his hair but was reminded of her helplessness when her wrists stayed fast to the table. There was nothing for her to do but sit back and enjoy, so she closed her eyes and thought of herself as a canvas on an easel being painted glorious colors by D’s artistic tongue.

She heard a noise at the front door. It sounded like someone was trying to let themselves in. Jen found it difficult to believe that conservative D was just going to stand there suckling on her while one of his roommates walked in, but she considered that she was actually pretty well covered by his head and hands and that whoever it was would probably just snicker and walk quickly by. She clamped her eyes shut, hoping she’d never have to know who it was.

The next thing she heard was a big “Surprise!” belted out in a woman’s voice.

Jen felt D leave her with the sound of a great suction being broken. Her eyes snapped open to see D standing three feet back from her and a middle-aged woman with brown chin-length hair staring open-mouthed at Jen’s completely exposed bare chest.

About the Author

Writing wasn't something Nicki set out to do; it just sort of happened when she realized writing reports was by far her favorite part of her investment consulting position. She traded stock allocation and diversification for story arcs and dialogue and now weaves her creative writing time in with the other activities of her busy life with her family in the Chicago suburbs.

Nicki writes with two goals in mind: #1 to keep the characters realistic, even when their circumstances are anything but, and #2 to make the reader feel. Her published works include Three Daves, a light-hearted romantic romp through a 1980s college campus, Divine Temptation, a romantic novel of angelic proportions, and short stories “Sway” (available as a single), “I Don’t Do Valentine’s Day” (part of A Valentine Anthology), and “Impressionism 101” (included in the debut issue of Insatiable: The Magazine of Paranormal Desire).
