This was the first ever book I had read of Larissa Lones and I can safely say it won't be the last. 

This book follows Cat, a fallen angel trying to get back to Heaven. Unfortunately things don't go as planned and Cat makes a big mistake, which she tries to rectify unsuccessfully. This also lands her in the presence of her crush Hades! The jailor of the underworld. 

This was a great read, and I'm happy to say that despite not having had read any of the previous books, it didn't matter in the slightest and I understood everything fine. I will definitely be checking out the other books in the series after reading this one as I really enjoyed it.
