One Small Act of Kindness Review

One Small Act of KindnessOne Small Act of Kindness by Lucy Dillon
What can you do to make the world a better place?

Libby and her husband Jason have moved back to his hometown to turn the family B&B into a boutique hotel. They have left London behind and all the memories - good and bad - that went with it.

The injured woman Libby finds lying in the remote country road has lost her memory. She doesn't know why she came to be there, and no one seems to be looking for her.

When Libby offers to take her in, this one small act of kindness sets in motion a chain of events that will change many people's lives . . .

This was a lovely read, a nice and easy read that you just fell into. I loved the characters and I felt an instant connection with Libby and how she felt at times. The writing style flows easily and draws you into the lives of Libby, Jason, Margaret, Alice and not to forgot Bob!

This is a heartwarming story, although I found it very predictable at times even though I didn't want to be right! I was also a little disappointed with the ending and would like to see how life continued for Alice when she finally had her memories back, and how Libby, Jason and Alice moved on with their lives.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it as a nice easy, relaxing read.
