Reign of Blood by Alexia Purdy
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I'm actually struggling to write this review without leaving spoilers.. so I think this may be my shortest one yet.
This book starts straight in at the action, searching for supplies in the middle of Las Vegas, where feral vampires could be lurking in the dark waiting to turn you into a snack. When April's mum and younger brother go missing April takes to blowing up vampire hives in Casino's to try to find them. This is when she comes across this new breed of vampire. If she wants to find her family she needs to trust them.
This book is filled with action, from start to (nearly) finish. The ending was the only thing that disappointed me. Yes there was the final confrontation, but the story didn't resolve, there was a lot left unsaid, so I'm hoping this means there will be a follow-up book.
