Expected publication: May 27th 2013 by Dragonfairy Press
***Genre - New Adult Paranormal Romance.
Book Synopsis
Samantha Bevans is having the best sex of her life—but it's not with her husband. Fortunately for her marriage, the affair is all in her mind. Isn't it? As an empath, she senses other people's emotions. But her connection to the man with the chiseled face and haunting eyes seems so real.
There's no time for fantasies with a serial killer loose in Pittsburgh. The killer is targeting dancers at a strip club where Samantha used to bartend, back when drugs were the only cure for the torment of her abilities. As a member of a special task force, Samantha uses her talents to sense the victims’ final thoughts. Just when she thought the case was complex enough, she discovers one of the victims was thinking about her fantasy man when she died.
Who can Samantha trust when she can’t trust her own mind? An empath feels the emotional environment around her…and Samantha is surrounded by death.

I need to be really clear with you all here... I loved D.T Dyllins The PJ Stone Gates Trilogy (I was lucky enough to Beta read the series for her) so when she asked if I would like to read Feeling Death I think I died and went to fangirl heaven. Then I started thinking well what if I don't like it. Well thankfully I didn't have to worry because Dyllin has done it again! She has written another book that grabs the reader, sinks its claws into you and refuses to let you go until you devour the entire story. I couldn't step away from this, I tried, but I failed miserably. As a busy mom of four young kids I do have periods of time where I'm incredibly busy, the weekend is one of them. My list of chores that need doing is as long as my arm but every time I leave the book to go do a job it calls to me. My head never really leaves the book, I'm always wondering what's going to happen with Sam. Which means I'm never gone for too long.
This is such an easy read to fall into, and fall into it you do. We begin right in the middle of the story with events unfolding before our eyes much like they do for Sam. There is no awkward 3 chapters worth of back story to fight your way through before the action begins. Sam's story is a fairly complicated one, and in the beginning when things start to unravel she is overwhelmed, not fully able to process what's going on, and as the reader being dragged along for the ride you kinda feel the same way. But soon enough though it all becomes clear.
Sam's world is very much like ours except some people in her world have special abilities. Some people use their abilities for good and others not so much. This isn't your everyday average paranormal, this is something more. It is dark and gritty in places, and helluva sexy in others. With the detailed sexy scenes this book is most definitely adult!
I honestly cannot wait until I can get my hands on the next instalment in this series.. I know, I know I'm incredibly impatient, but it really isn't that often that I find a writer that draws me into their books so completely but there were bits in this book that were only hinted at and I need to see how they develop.
