Tattooed, pink-haired, Bettie Page lookalike Nina is addicted to bad boys. Like Heathcliff and Cathy, Nina firmly believes that true love only takes one form: wild, mad love, full of passion and fire and tempestuous arguments, and she won’t settle for anything less.
But years of swiping right has uncovered nothing but losers and flings, and Nina is no closer to finding her One True Love than she ever was. And when a man from her past walks into the shop Nina knows she has nothing to fear. The geekiest boy in her school has become a boring business analyst who's welded to his iPad and with his navy blue suits and ginger hair, Noah has no chance of making her heart go pitter patter.
Which just shows how little Nina knows about bad boys, business analysts and her heart…

Annie Darling and her Lonely Hearts Bookshop has quickly become a favourite of mine. Each book is essentially a standalone following a new member of staff, whilst the staff members from previous books become supporting characters for the new book. So you could read the books out of sequence, but you will come across a few spoilers if you do.
Crazy in Love follows Nina. Nina isn't like everyone else and I love that about her, from the way she dresses to her attitude about love. Sometimes when you listen to her talk about relationships and marriage its easy to think she isn't looking for love, but she is. She just doesn't fully understand how love affects a person. So she is completely thrown when Noah walks in to her life. From the very beginning she doesn't see Noah as a serious love interest and what happens then is she lets her guard down, she spends time with him, and before she knows whats happening shes thinking about him in ways she swore she never would. Can Nina really let go of her idea of crazy in love and actually fall for someone like Noah?
I could rave all day about this book, this series, Annie Darling.... I cant wait to see what happens next in this series.
