Skye is a mum of two, and married to Darren. She has a dream - to own her own book store. But life got in the way, and her husbands dreams soon took over.
As much as she appreciates the life she has, Skye can't help but feel like her dreams aren't important.

Wow what an amazing debut novel! and not only is the book amazing but I personally know the author. When I knew Lisa had completed her first novel I was just itching to get my hands on it, although I must admit I did have reservations being that Lisa is a personal friend! What if I didn't like it? how could you tell a friend her book was bad? but luckily I never had to cross these bridges as the book is AMAZING! Skye is a fantastic character and its brilliant reading how she goes from strength to strength and grows as a person throughout the book. I literally could not put this book down! it had me on a roller coaster of emotions and at times had me reduced to tears! I really cannot recommend this book enough! I cannot wait to read what else Lisa comes out with!About the Author
Writing has been a passion of hers for as long as she was old enough to pick up a pen, and having a book published is a lifelong dream.
Unfortunately, for many years, Lisa suffered from severe writer's block, which became increasingly frustrating. So in 2012, she decided to take a step back and give up trying to write for a while.
Always being an avid reader of anything she could get her hands on, Lisa was honoured when she was asked to become a reviewer on the Booky Ramblings of a Neurotic Mom blog.
Reading a wider range of books, interacting with authors, writing reviews, and a certain trip to London, led Lisa to participate in NaNoWriMo 2013, and she gives all those things credit for her finally managing to complete her first book.
From Rock Bottom to Skye High is the first book Lisa has managed to complete, and she is extremely proud of it. She hopes that Skye's story is the first of many, many more to come!
Lisa is currently working on her second book.
