The Runaway Series Reviews

Runaway King (Runaway, #1)Runaway King by Nicole Clark

There are always things in a marriage that cause the couple to place distance between each other. But, what happens when you try to fix that marriage, you end up having to try and save yourself and your friends instead?
Josh is trying to fix his marriage all because he let other things come between him and his precious wife. The closer he comes to making things right with her, he finds someone is out to stop him from not only fixing his marriage, but continuing to live all together—someone who is close to him, but only for the simple purpose of making sure that Josh isn’t caught off guard. His life is in danger and so are the lives of his best friends. He’ll stop at nothing to get his marriage back to how it was before, even if it means using a little violence.
**Contains some adult situations and violence as well as language.**
Claire's Review 4 of 5 Stars

This is the first book I've read of Nicole Clarks and I really enjoyed it. I am a big lover or short stories that you can dive straight into and this was great for doing just that. I did feel to begin with that I needed to know more of the background to the story however this didn't effect my understanding of the story or my enjoyment. I also felt at the beginning Clarisse was rather selfish the way she demanded her husbands attention when a close friend was seriously injured in hospital, this I think needed to have more explanation over the reasons that their marriage was in trouble . The characters were well developed and I look forward to seeing what the rest of the series has in store.

Runaway Heart (Runaway, #2)Runaway Heart by Nicole Clark

Matt has now taken over Josh’s position as president of the Demon Reaper Motorcycle Club. For him, life is good. He has women throwing themselves at him and the support of his amazing friends. But, when he is called to do work on a particular woman’s bike, he finds his world is changed forever. All other women in his life fall away from his mind as he focuses solely on her. But with all good things, come some bad. Matt’s past comes up to bite him hard. Having to work through it, he finally gets his dream girl and ultimately finds himself in a life he never dreamed for himself.
**This book contains adult language and situations. For mature audiences only**

The second installment in the series and I loved it! I really felt Nicole found her stride with this one, and it sucked me right into the story and left me wanting more! Matt and Sam make the perfect couple and I hope we get to see lots more of them as the series continues.

Runaway Bullet (Runaway, #3)Runaway Bullet by Nicole Clark

Strong, silent, and the one most likely to kill without giving a reason.
Jon is the only founding member of the Demon Reaper Motorcycle Club that everyone fears. He always says what's on his mind and when he says something, he means it. Those aren't threats that are popping out of his mouth, they're promises.
When Jon meets the redhead of his dreams, everything about him changes. He suddenly understands what Josh said when he'd do anything for Clarisse. But, when Jon's newfound discovery of love is threatened by someone from her past, will he be able to save her or will he lose the one woman who changed him?
**For 18+ only. Contains mature content as well as some content that may upset younger audiences**
Claire's Review 5 of 5 Stars

The more I read of the authors books the more I can see her growing as an author and finding her footing. This book focuses on Jon and Lara and is full of action which keeps you hooked and turning the page. I am really enjoying this series and cannot wait to see what happens next.

A lovely short story focusing on the gang enjoying New Years together. This was a great snippet of them all together which was nice to see and it set up the scene perfectly for the next instalment in the series!
