And now there is another, one who can bring Morgan clarity, truth... love. Morgan must decide who is her true soul mate, and who is out to destroy her forever...

Shona's review 5 of 5 stars

Morgan has changed so much. She is no longer the naive young girl we first met in Book of Shadows. As her magick has developed she has developed an inner strength, or rather she has discovered her inner strength. Which has led to her questioning everything she knows. In this collection of stories Morgan has to face up to the fact that people she has trusted have lied to her. And not everyone is quite what they have seemed.

I love that Tiernan hasnt glossed over everything, there has been no miraculous chant of a spell that make Morgan's life suddenly easier. There's no smoothing over the issues with her parents fears and feelings towards witchcraft and Morgan still has to wrestle with what being a Blood Witch actually means.

The only issue I have with this collection in general, and it's really a small one hence I still gave 5 stars, is this series was obviously individual books with several months between the release of each book, so obviously its nice to include small reminders of what happened in previous books but... this omnibus really doesnt need a reminder in every book that Morgan fixed up a potion that cleared up Robbie's skin and eyesight. A small amount of editing to remove some of the recaps would have been great. But then.... maybe I'm the only one who would binge read the series.
