This was a comfortable and enjoyable read. I had read a few of the other reviews for this book and was surprised with some of them.. a few have said 'there is no plot only sex in this book'.. I guess that would depend on your idea of plot. Yes there is sex in this book, there is a lot of sex in this book, but there is also a lot of character development and story. And its rather difficult to explain without posting huge spoilers.
Alayna and Hudson's relationship is hardly what you would call conventional, but watching it develop in to something more is very enjoyable. The way that Paige has written this makes it easy for the reader to fall into the story, to get lost in the budding friendship/relationship and of course the sexy scenes, and not realise how much time is passing. Do not be surprised if you sit down to read for half an hour only to find that a few hours have gone past and the book has been devoured.
Although this is the first in a series of books there is no cliffhanger.
